Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 20, 2021) – Jack Dover has been a consistent contender during his visits to U.S. 36 Raceway since he started his racing career 15 years ago.

Although he only competes at the high-banked oval near Osborn, Mo., once or twice per year, Dover has almost always been in contention to win. In fact, Dover has been victorious during seven of those years and he has earned at least one top five in 13 of the 14 years he’s visited U.S. 36 Raceway.

Dover returns to the track this Friday during a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event.

“I’m pretty excited,” he said. “We’ve done well there and won a lot of races. It’s like my home track of Eagle Raceway and we’ve had a lot of luck there. We have a lot of laps around Eagle and a lot of laps around U.S. 36. It fits my style. Normally it gets up against the wall and you have to get up on the wheel.”

Dover has captured triumphs at U.S. 36 Raceway in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and in 2018. He was unable to compete at the oval in 2015 and in 2009 he posted a sixth-place finish, meaning he was only one spot shy of garnering a top five during every year he’s raced at U.S. 36 Raceway.

This weekend will conclude with a trip to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Saturday. Dover was planning on tackling the season opener at the track last weekend, but elected to stay home to prepare for a day spent on the dyno.

“The main reason is the dyno day on Sunday added up to one full race night so we went back and forth on doing that and learning or going to the track,” he said. “We learned quite a bit so it was well worth it.”
