Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Aug. 13, 2019) – Jack Dover is venturing to Jackson Motorplex this Saturday to tackle a Midwest Power Series and Midwest Sprint Touring Series event.

Dover ranks second in the championship standings at the 4/10-mile oval in Jackson, Minn., where he is only eight points out of the lead with four races remaining this season.

“I’ve always enjoyed racing at Jackson and we have a pretty good track record there,” he said. “I feel confident every time we roll through the gate that we will have an opportunity to compete for a win.”

Dover has been victorious at the oval this season. He has earned a trio of top-five finishes in four starts. Dover also produced three wins at Jackson Motorplex last year and two victories in 2017.

Dover enters the race leading the Midwest Sprint Touring Series championship standings by 27 points with only six races remaining this season – four at Jackson Motorplex. He has five MSTS victories this year.

“We’re excited to be able to contend for the MSTS championship and hopefully we can close out the season with a strong run each night,” he said. “There are some good racers with the series so it’d be a good feat if we can win the title.”
