Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 14, 2015) – Jack Dover will be off this weekend for the second straight week after his scheduled event for Saturday was postponed.
Unfortunately, that gives him extra time to think about rebounding from a rough start to his season.
“I’d much rather be out there racing, but there isn’t a close option this weekend,” he said. “We’ve had speed the first couple of races this season and have just ran into bad luck.”
Dover won his heat race during each of his first two races of the season. Unfortunately, mechanical problems have derailed him while battling inside the top 10 during both main events.
“It’s good to at least have the speed there,” he said. “It has boiled down to luck the first two races so if we can get through a night without problems we know we’ll be in contention for wins and top fives.”
Dover’s next scheduled race is April 25 at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo.
