Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (Oct. 14, 2014) – Jack Dover will make his only trip of the season to Texas this weekend for the 41st annual Winter Nationals.

Dover is slated to compete on Friday and Saturday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite with the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour during a premier event he won in 2010.

“It’s getting bigger each year,” he said. “Winning in 2010 was awesome. It’s going to be hard to win this weekend, but I know we have a good car and a good motor. I feel like we have a good chance of winning it.”

Dover has earned at least one top 10 during the Winter Nationals doubleheader every season since his victory at the half-mile track in 2010.

“It’s a hard track to run because you’re going uphill in turns one and two and downhill in turns three and four,” he said. “It’s all about how you set up your car.”

Dover has recorded 14 victories this season, but he is still looking for his first Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour triumph of the year. He scored at least one ASCS National Tour win in each of the past six seasons entering this year.

“There wouldn’t be a better time to pick up that win than this weekend,” he said. “There will be a lot of talented teams at Devil’s Bowl, but we’re right in the mix with the best of them.”
