This week, many Eagle teams rose to the top of many major contests. Stewart Friesen scored the largest win of his four-win season Sunday with the ESS at Utica-Rome Speedway in the Cole Cup. Friesen piloted Doug Emery’s and Barb Patterson’s Eagle to a $7000 payday and led a flock of Eagles to the line. Eagle Motorsports cars made up the top three with Steve Poirier and Shawn Donath next across the stripe. Emery proclaimed, “There’s no better car on a slick track than an Eagle.” Mark Dobmeier drove the new XP-13 Eagle to a two-win weekend, nearly making it three. The band of Lunstra Motorsports trekked East after a Thursday Grand Forks win to earn their first Jerry Richert Memorial victory with the IRA. Jack Dover ran two spectacular races to lead off the weekend, capturing the ASCS Midwest show at Adam County, and then traveling to McCool Junction to grab a last corner lead and claim the hardware with the NCRA. Seth Bergman did much of the same in the ASCS sooner region, winning the bounty at Outlaw Motor Speedway. Darryl Ruggles grabbed his eighth win of the season at Canandaigua and claimed the 2013 305 Championship in his first year of competition. Jody Rosenboom took the wheel of the Denny Wasmund Eagle and stood atop the podium at I-90. Great work by all! Eagle Motorsports has completed final preparations for 2014 and are excited to introduce the new XP-13 to your team.
