Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (Aug. 26, 2025) – Jack Dover garnered a top-five result last Saturday to highlight a two-race weekend.

The Tim Estenson Motorsports competitor kicked off a Cressman Sanitation Midwest Sprint Touring Series 410 Sprint Cars event at Off Road Speedway in Norfolk, Neb., by winning a heat race from the outside of the front row. That lined him up second in the main event.

“I was second early and we had a restart about eight laps in,” Dover said. “I slid the leader on the restart because I knew it was my only opportunity because the track was going to take rubber. I tried sliding him again in (turns) three and four, but I knew we weren’t going to have enough room so I stayed on the bottom. When I did that it definitely didn’t help the tires. My car didn’t seem like it was hooked up like it should have been so I think I sealed my tires over. They started to go away around Lap 12 and by Lap 15 was when they felt gone with no grip. It was the most noticeable I’ve felt in my career.”

Dover hung on to salvage a fourth-place finish. He remains the MSTS 410 Sprint Cars points leader by 44 points with three races remaining this season.

The weekend wrapped up on Sunday at Huset’s Speedway, where Dover timed in second quickest in his group. A fourth-place outing in a heat race ranked him ninth in overall points to miss the feature redraw by only one spot. That lined him up on the inside of the fifth row for the main event.

“I didn’t feel like I was hooked up enough on the right side,” he said. “The car wasn’t great so we have some room to grow. We have to work on that a little bit.”

Dover maintained a top 10 throughout the race before ending seventh – his eighth top 10 of the season at the track, which is tied for the third most. He moved up to fourth in the championship standings and is only 15 points out of third place heading into the final points race of the season at Huset’s Speedway.

The track’s points finale is this Friday followed by the L.G. Everist Huset’s Shootout presented by Ace Ready Mix and Myrl & Roy’s Paving featuring the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series on Saturday and Sunday.
