Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (May 22, 2023) – Jack Dover will make his season debut in his No. 53 sprint car this Friday during an ASCS National Tour event.

Dover, whose primary role this year is serving as the crew chief for Tim Estenson, is set to make one of his approximate 18 starts behind the wheel of his race car at Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan.

“I’m pretty excited,” he said. “It’ll be good to get back in a car and get the adrenaline going again. We’ve won there, too, so that’s a good feeling. I’m looking forward to being able to take some of the stuff I’ve learned this year being with Tim and transferring that to my car.”

Dover earned an ASCS regional victory at the big track in August 2012 and he placed fourth during an ASCS National Tour show there in May 2018.

“It’s like Knoxville where you have to keep it straight and smooth,” he said. “It’s a big track so try not to twitch the wheel.

“It will be a fun night overall. A realistic goal is a top five. I’d like to compete for a win, but I’d be happy if we could get out of there with a competitive top five.”
