Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (July 5, 2022) – Jack Dover is hungry to return to Victory Lane this Friday when he climbs back aboard his No. 53 winged sprint car at I-80 Speedway.

Dover captured his lone triumph this season at the dirt oval in Greenwood, Neb., on May 13. He also placed third – after starting 12th – at the track during his season opener. Dover was on pace to win his most recent race at I-80 Speedway when a late-race mechanical problem relegated him to a 12th-place result.

“I’m always hungry, but even more hungry because the last race we should have won and we weren’t able to finish,” he said. “Also, I haven’t been in my car a lot this year so I’m excited to get back in it and hopefully put together a successful run for our partners.”

Dover has been dominant at the track as he has earned 17 victories during his last 56 races in 360ci winged sprint car competition at I-80 Speedway.

“We have a lot of laps there, but we also have a good setup that I’m comfortable with,” he said. “It seems to work whenever we go there. This year I-80 has been around the bottom every time we’ve been there, which is very unusual. Our car has been working on the bottom or the top. The biggest thing is having a good setup.”

Dover, who is the defending track champion, is the current points leader at I-80 Speedway with only four more points races on the 2022 schedule.
