Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 25, 2022) – Wet weather cancelled the racing plans for Jack Dover once again last weekend.

Dover is aiming to return to action this Friday at Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minn., with the Midwest Sprint Touring Series and Midwest Power Series and Saturday at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.

“I like the way Jackson races,” he said. “It’s kind of fast and can be tricky at times. Sometimes there’s a high groove and other nights the rubber comes in. After years of experience I know what the track does and where the rubber comes in at so that gives us confidence.”

Dover’s most recent victory at Jackson Motorplex was in June 2019, but he has earned multiple top-five finishes at the track during each of the last five years. He has at least one top-five outing at Knoxville Raceway during three of the last four seasons.

“I think racing 410s a little more and we always try different things every time we go to Knoxville has helped,” he said. “It seems we’ve hit the setup better and have done things that are better for us more often than things that have hurt us. I feel like when we get there we don’t qualify as well as we need to, but when we roll out onto the track we’re way better than three years ago and even two years ago.

“The way we rolled that first night out a couple of weeks ago I feel we have a shot to win at Jackson. And as good as the car felt I’m excited to go to Knoxville and see what it does there, too.”
