Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 18, 2022) – It’s been nearly two years since Jack Dover has competed at U.S. 36 Raceway, which has been one of his best tracks statistically.

Dover returns to the high-banked oval near Osborn, Mo., this Saturday during a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour event.

“I’m really excited,” he said. “We’ve had a couple of weeks to prepare ourselves since our season opener. We shook the car down so we shouldn’t have to worry about anything and we have some new parts on it to make it better.”

Dover has been stout at U.S. 36 Raceway, where he has earned at least one top five in 13 of the 14 years he’s competed there. He was victorious at the track in 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016 and in 2018.

“It’s like my home track of Eagle Raceway,” he said. “We’ve won a lot of races there. It’s fast paced and you have to man up. It separates the men from the boys.”

Saturday will be the first of a dozen scheduled starts with the ASCS National Tour this season for Dover.

“We want to win, but if we come out of there with a top three it’s a good night, especially with it being an ASCS National Tour event,” he said. “It’s a measuring stick to see where we are as far as speed goes. I think we’ll be right there with them, but it’s a good way to judge yourself as far as speed and how good you really are.”
